“Flores Alamenses” and “Jardin Azul de Alamos Sonora” are original Compositions for the Romantic Spanish Style Classical Guitar written and performed by Samuel de la Torre Dórame. These songs honor the Beautiful Picturesque Gardens and flowers of Alamos’s Romanticism.

Included in the CD are six Spanish Compositions by the 19th century Spanish Composer Francisco Tarrega (One of the most Influential Guitarists and Composers for the Romantic Spanish Style Classical Guitar) and four Mexican Waltzes from the early 1900s.

The CD will be available in late January for purchase.  Profits for the CD are to be donated to Amigos de Educación de Alamos .

Leigh Gusterson

In January of 2009 I had to get out of the 2 feet of snow in Taos, New Mexico.  Friends of mine in Tucson asked me "why don't you go paint in Alamos?"  They regaled me with stories and descriptions of the beautiful Colonial architecture, the warm hospitality of both the American and Mexican folks that live there, and general Alamos magic.  I was convinced . . . I stayed 2 weeks in Alamos and was not disappointed!  I'll be back . . ."

Blessings, Leigh
