| Below is a partial list of
some of the items for an altar: |
| |
| * A picture, painting or
statue of Our Mother of Sorrow |
| |
| * Crucifix, nails, colored
water, candles and flowers, wheat, seeds, oranges, paper cut-outs,
crown of thorns, rooster, ladder, hammer, pliers, column with lash or
whip, gold objects, silver and gold flags. |
| |
| * Music: "Staba Mater" by
G. Rossini. |
| |
| Be creative and use your
imagination, not your money, when decorating your altar. |
| |
| Maps are available at La
Corregidora Bar and at the Museum. |
| Your home and altar should
be lit with luminarios or other lights so they can be seen by visitors
This year, please have your altars
available for viewing both Friday and Saturday. |
